Food for Health
Chocolate. One study found that heart attack survivors who ate chocolate two or more times a week slashed their risk of dying from heart disease by threefold. German researchers found that eating only one square of dark chocolate a week lowered the risk of heart attack and stroke by 39 percent. Other studies have also found that chocolate lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow. The high levels of antioxidants in chocolate seem to be the most likely candidates for chocolate's heart-healthy benefits.
Alcohol. Evidence is mounting that moderate drinking helps reduce the risk of heart disease. (Moderate drinking is defined as three to seven drinks each week for women and three to 14 drinks weekly for men.) A recent study found that moderate drinking lowered the risk of cardiovascular death by 38 percent. Light drinkers (men or women who had three or fewer drinks a week) lowered their risk by 31 percent.
Fish. Fatty fish, such as salmon, sardines, and mackerel, contain omega-3 fatty acids, which studies have shown decrease the risk of abnormal heartbeats. They also lower blood pressure, decrease triglyceride levels, and slow the growth of atherosclerotic plaque. A recent study from the University of Athens in Greece found that eating fish once or twice a week helps preserve heart function in those patients who suffer from heart failure. The American Heart Association recommends eating at least two servings of fatty fish each week.
Tea. A British study found that drinking one cup of tea each day could cut the risk of heart attack almost in half. In addition, a Greek study found that green tea dilated arteries in the heart and allowed blood to flow more freely, which may help protect from blood clots. But skip the milk: A German study found that although tea without milk prevents cardiovascular disease, adding milk counteracts the heart-healthy benefits.
Nuts. Many studies have shown that nuts lower LDL ("bad") cholesterol, reduce the risk of developing blood clots, and improve the lining of arteries. Almost every type of nut is healthy, says the Mayo Clinic, but walnuts have been studied many times and have been found to contain high amounts of omega-3 fatty acids. A daily handful of almonds, pecans, hazelnuts, or macadamia nuts are also healthy.
Cranberries. Researchers at the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania found that drinking three glasses of cranberry juice daily for a month significantly raised HDL ("good") cholesterol by 10 percent and lowered the risk of heart disease by 40 percent. Cranberries may even help those with genes for high cholesterol. Researchers at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine found that cranberry powder lowered the cholesterol levels of pigs born with a genetic predisposition for high cholesterol. Within six months, their cholesterol levels were less than other pigs born with the genetic defect but not given cranberry powder, as well as the levels of pigs born with normal cholesterol levels that weren't given cranberry.

Zeolites are natural volcanic minerals with an unique, complex crystalline structure. It's honeycomb framework of cavities and channels (like cages) works at the cellular level trapping, heavy metals and toxins. High Cholesterol
"Isabel. Our daughter has just been diagnosed with high cholesterol. She's only 10. We stay away from whole eggs and she doesn't eat much red meat. How is that possible? "
Wow, 10 and high cholesterol already. That's pretty scary. Remember when the term "high cholesterol" was only used to describe your grandma and other old folk? (No offense granny). Well not anymore. Kids are being diagnosed with all sorts of things we once only considered "adult" conditions including high cholesterol, high triglycerides and diabetes.
So, first things first. How does anyone get high cholesterol? And how was I going to explain this to a 10 year old? Follow my little analogy....
Imagine we lived in a high crime city where criminals could be found on every street corner. In order to resolve the problem, the mayor decides to put a police officer on every street corner. Now, imagine that your friend comes to visit your city and says "Oh, I know why there is so much crime here. It is because there are police officers on each corner." Silly right? The reason why the officers were put there was because of the criminals, not the other way around!
Well, here is the mass cholesterol confusion.
The criminals are sugar and processed foods. The police officers are cholesterol.
If you eliminate the officers (cholesterol), the criminals (sugar and processed foods) continue to create damage, in this case, they are damaging your arteries. Cholesterol (police officer) is only there to help. It is coming to the rescue. So isn't it silly that people who need cholesterol to save them from more harm to their arteries are being put on cholesterol lowering drugs?
I know this is a lot to take in. So read the little story again if it still does not seem clear. The truth is, you need to wipe out the criminals, not reduce the police officers!
So now the question is, how can you keep the criminals at bay?
Stop eating an excessive amount of sugar and processed foods and adopt a healthy eating regimen that includes natural foods.
1. Include organic eggs, natural meat and poultry, veggies, fruits, raw nuts, coconut oil and olive oil into your daily eating regimen. Natural, natural, natural is the name of the game.
2. Reduce sugar drinks and drink water, water, water. Amazing things will happen once your body is hydrated (including regulating cholesterol).
3. Move it or lose it. Or in this case, move it to lose it. Exercise is one of the best ways to regulate your cholesterol levels. Even if it didn't affect your cholesterol, would there be anything to lose by trying? Oh yeah, FAT, I forgot.
Commit today to taking one step towards taking control of your cholesterol, your weight or your health and finally shoot down the criminals once and for all!
In health and happiness,
Isabel De Los Rios

Caring Less About Our Health
A friend of mine came to visit from Europe and was very shocked by the sight. He said the problem is nowhere near as bad in his country. I think we all should get on the stick and think of what we can do about this problem.

Get Your Business Moving
The main thing is to start with as little investment as you can get away with, so you won't go broke while you are learning the ropes.
I made some mistakes, but my total investment over the years was less than $300. If I was starting over again, it would be less than $100. Don't worry about needing gobs of money, you won't need it and you still can do well in this business.

Getting Rid of Toxins
I remember it made my tongue sort of numb and I didn't feel good the rest of the day. I was lucky that the vacuum held the mercury in the glass tube or I would have been in real trouble. I don't know how much I actually got of the stuff, but I did taste something.
I guess we all got a dose of toxic stuff over our lifetimes with all that is hanging around. As kids we even ran through the DDT filled smoke when they were spraying for mosquito's.

The Cave Man Diet
They most likely had meat, birds, and fish. I would say they had eggs, berries, fruit, and vegetables in season. Tree nuts and root vegetables were easily stored, so I would say they ate plenty of these.
As you can see, all of these foods are good for your health, nothing damaging here. Their meats were low fat, they had no grains or sugar and their vegetables would be the green leafy types.
So, wouldn't it be wise to pattern a diet on just these foods?
